In 1989 a police officer was killed in Savannah, Georgia. Troy Davis was arrested as nine witnesses had told that he killed Mark MacPhail. Davis has maintained his innocence since and later it came out that seven of nine witnesses from trial have recanted or contradicted their testimony and are saying that police forced them to say that Davis killed MacPhail.
21 September he's being executed and there is no evidence that he killed the police officer. He has been on death row since 1991, almost two decades, and what state Georgia are doing is wrong. Their killing an innocent man! I really hope that you read this, join Facebook group here and if you have a blog please please write about this. Please please do something! We can't let an innocent man die just because someone has to pay for it!!! IT IS TOO MUCH DOUBT! |
